• Emily Dobson

    Emily is the Founder of The Caribbean and Latin American Network and has resided in Brazil for 18 years. She is a credentialed teacher, counselor, and former international school administrator. Emily has built counseling departments, overseen curriculum development, written handbooks, and counseled hundreds of students and families from Brazil to Nepal. As a former Executive Board member of the International Association for College Admissions Counseling, Emily's network and knowledge of the college landscape is global. Since 2012, Emily has been leading recruitment and counseling sessions around Brazil with KICUnivAssist- speaking to thousands about the trends and needs of higher education. Emily is one of the only Certified Educational Planners in Latin America.

  • Tiffany Knight

    A proud ‘advocate & access warrior’, Tiffany started her teaching career through the JET Programme (Minamimaki, Japan) in 2002 and as a MEXT Scholar in Education Training (Tokyo, Japan) in 2007. Her love for mentoring youth ultimately led her to college counseling, where she helps her students build self-confidence, learn the value of hard work, and set a path for their future. Tiffany has authored a 54-page financial aid guide for international students, the excerpt of which is featured by the College Essay Guy. She has worked on several projects supporting high-achieving, low-income (HALI) students with their post-secondary planning. She has comprehensive experience building foundation resources, materials, and policies for new and growing counseling offices.
